“Southward goes the wind, then turns to the north; it turns and turns again; then back to its circling goes the wind.” Ecclesiastes 1:6
The very essence of wind in motion, is the dance.
If you are engaging a Wind Personality Type you would be wise not to place many bets on where they will end up, or when. People engaging wind do well by enjoying its dance. Likewise, wind needs to remember that try as it might, it will not always blow the same direction with the same intensity. Therefore wind would be wise to limit its promises, curb its predictions, and remember that although it may be headed up today, it could be headed down tomorrow. And vice versa.
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing insights from the Path Elements Personality tools, a framework that I created in 1998. I first started playing with the Four Elements when I noticed in Genesis 1:1 that all of the Elements were mentioned in Scripture. I became intrigued and started looking at the Bible through the lens of the Four Elements of Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind. The Elements are mentioned more than 1900 times in relation to people, Jesus’ mission, the Holy Spirit, leaders, prophecy, and faith. I have found this work to be one of the most engaging areas of my body of work.
I love thinking about the Elements and how they can help others see and respect differences.
